Class of 1989; 20th Year Reunion Highlights
Our 20-year reunion was awesome! We had good response and I honestly did not hear one negative word about the weekend from those who attended. We had an informal get-together on Friday evening at J.P. Henry's, a tour of the high school on Saturday and a buffet dinner with DJ at the Parkersburg Art Center. As favors, we gave everyone a program for the evening, a classmate directory, a coffee mug, a "high school" memories DVD (produced by Mindy Maher Rutherford, classmate and reunion committee member) and a bag of Mister Bee potato chips. Everyone received a black gift bag with red tissue paper (our senior colors) when they walked in the door on Saturday evening.
Class of 1979; 30th Year Reunion Highlights/Photos
It turned out to be a great weekend! During the last home game, those who attended received a small red football. The class met Friday night before the game, and it was a great evening; The rain stopped long enough for the class to enjoy the Big Red football win over Riverside! Saturday, there was a tour of the high school, and later at JP Henry's we had a great turn out.

Mid-Summer Reunion Party
About 400 people attended the first "Mid-Summer Reunion Party" in July that brought together several graduating classes of PHS. The free party was designed to allow local graduates to maintain their longtime friendships. Attending were Jim Fox '81, a member of the Wood County Board Education, Steve Mullen '81, Dave Bailey, Ann Bailey Shepard and Sonar Lyons Merrick. It was estimated that the majority of reunion goers graduated from PHS 1980-1982. People from 13 states and two PHS grads living in France attended.
Class of 1949; 60th Year Reunion Highlights/Photos
The PHS Class of 1949 held their reunion at the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells on June 5th and 6th. Activities included a mixer, dinner and a tour of PHS. The event was decorated with senior class colors of kelly green and gold one night and red and white the other. A Book of Remembrance was created as a tribute to deceased members of class.

Class of 1969; 40th Year Reunion Highlights
Among those attending the PHS Class of 1969 reunion were former Wood County Assessor Steve Grimm, now living in Siesta Key, Fla., and Tom Inaction, father of professional golfer, Brittany Inaction. Musician Joe Mullenix of California and attorney Anne Edwards also attended the reunion of their class.
